MOTIVATIONS
Through providing me a proper exposure, a financial support and a mentorship, this prize can become an integral partner to help me grow my business from a small heritage brand to an international phenomenon. I would be proud, as a designer from the Mediterranean region, to have my career launched through the OpenMyMed Prize.

VALUES LINKED TO THE MMM (CRAFT TECH CARE & GIVE BACK)
I come from three generations of female designers and female-owned businesses. An appreciation for beauty and fashion craft is integral to my design process and it is the DNA of the brand. We use couture methods when producing and creating our designs and we employ artisanal methods of pleating, silkscreen printing, embroidery, and fabric manipulation. We believe that we should not create more than we need. We do not create surplus or stocks. Once again, as we get to control our production and know what is going in and out - then we are able to produce to exact quantities.
As a female designer with a unique story from Beirut, an international platform such as OpenMyMed Prize can launch my career in unbelievable ways.
