As a trendsetter, Cécile Poignant studies with passion the evolution of socio-cultural trends, identifying the weak signals that announce the major future trends in order to anticipate new consumer behaviors and help brands create their future. Cécile is the editor of Trend Tablet, a leading resource for forecasting trends and consumer perspectives for design, fashion, textiles, food, beauty, retail and creative industries.
Over the years, she has work with international brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Richemont, Nissan, Philips, her strategic studies, in order to inform their product development, market research and innovation departments.
Lecturer sought after for her insight, Cécile take part on several international conferences on various subjects and leads workshops with professionals experienced: Procter and Gamble, Pernod Ricard ... She also teaches innovation at the Parsons School in Paris, and forecasting trends at ESCP Europe, IFM Paris and the American University of Paris.
In 2020, she joined the expert team of Ali Rakib to lead the MMM Fashion Academy of the OpenMyMed Prize 2020-21 competition.
