"Many reasons makes us apply for OpenMyMed Prize, partnership with a press agency, extend the strong and conceptual identity of NÏUKU across Asia (Japan, Korea), Europe and United Kingdom, with a goal of integrate several department stores in Paris, London, Berlin, Milan, etc... as well as the American market (New York, Los Angeles...).
The parisian label NÏUKU (pronounced New Kou) was founded in 2013 from the encounter of Kiadata Diallo and Lenny Guerrier, two personalities with complementary know-how. Lenny settle down his head-quarters in Le Marais since 2012, creating his fashion “cabinet de curiosités”: Coïncidence. Strong of his diversity, he develops transversally the project “future institute”, a consulting agency specialized into a new vision of fashion and beauty. Kadiata Dialoo, Mauritanian born, arrived in Paris in 2009 and join Studio Berçot. During an internship she met Lenny, and together they imagine and create the uniform for the Coïncidence crew, timeless denim silhouettes. Unisex becomes the signature of the very first collection NÏUKU, titled “Pages Blanches". All the pieces are made in France as a manifest, and the brand has just entered the official calendar of Paris Fashion Week.
