Kaporal, the brand leader in jeans based in Marseille, has successfully brought out a capsule collection of an iconic item of the feminine wardrobe, the little dress. The 7 models are worn by three fashion bloggers, @sweetieytb, @estellefitz and @clara.berry, chosen by Guillaume Ruby, the brand's Communications Director, to attract their targeted market of millennials. They incarnate a free, liberated yet determined vision in a road movie filmed in Marseilles, alternating between trendy places, like the famous rooftop exhibition area by the French designer Ora-Ito at the MaMo, the Cité Radieuse apartment block designed by Le Corbusier, and more natural locations including the beach and a more Far West atmosphere. Reminders of the similarity of lifestyles between Marseilles and Los Angeles. Kaporal has taken a global and local approach, with tutu style dresses made in a limited edition collection in Marseilles at the 13’Atypik workshop. See them now in the label's e-shop. Laurence Paganini is not only at the head of Kaporal, but she is also a Board Member of the MMMM, where she inspires us with an attractive international image of Marseilles the fashion city.
