The seventh colour of the Rainbow is at the centre of the work of Anaïs Guéry

Following her travels and experiences, Anaïs Guéry has become passionate about the colour indigo, a deep, dense and luminous blue which she uses in an artisanal manner with linen and silk twill in her collections. In 2014 she opened her studio and started to build her wardrobe combining heritage couture and artistic experimentation.

As a French Laureate of the 2016 OpenMyMed competition, created by the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (MMMM), the prize established her label A.guery on the international scene.

On 2, 3 and 4 June Anaïs Guéry is running a workshop during the Anti_fashion weekend in Marseille, where she will show her skills and know-how, and her aesthetic and poetic sensibility around the colour indigo.

A news item which echoes the exhibition « Indigo Indicon », at the Marianne Cat boutique, on this exhilarating and inspiring blue, very much in vogue, which also reminds us of our favourite item of clothing: jeans.

« Indigo Indicon » - from 19 May to 8 June - Marianne Cat, 53 rue Grigan (6e), Marseilles
