On 12 February Alexandra SEBBAG, who has a diploma from the Roger Guilbert Institute in Brussels, got his Aix-Marseilles University (AMU) students on the Masters Degree course in Fashion and Textile Metiers, to reinterpret the creations of the contemporary artist and plastician Gilles BARBIER, who recently had an exhibition at the La Friche de la Belle de Mai cultural centre in Marseilles.
The exhibition is in different forms, designed as a body of work whose multiple areas and spaces constitute a creative method of contemporary survival.
For the occasion, the M Gallery was transformed into a photographer's studio, with the photographer from Marseilles, Zbiog, being chosen to run the workshop. Also participating were the 4th year students from the Axe Sud school specialising in graphic arts and visual communication.
