The MMMM invited to the First Fashion Forum


Created by the FrenchMinistries of Culture and Economy the first Fashion Forum will take place on 6 December at the Gaîté Lyrique theatre, bringing together the major actors of this successful industry which produces sales of over €150 billion each year and is very much focused on the international market. With five round tables, the speakers will share the perspectives of the actors of today and tomorrow. The event is also supported by DEFI, the French Federation of Couture Fashion, and the French Women's Ready-to-Wear Trade Association (FFPPF). 

Maryline Bellieud-Vigouroux (MMMM) has been invited by the President of the FFPPF, Pierre-François Le Louët, to discuss with Nathalie Dufour (ANDAM) and Jean-Pierre Blanc (Hyères Festival) on the theme of « Supporting and financing fashion labels ». She will present the actions and partnerships of the MMMM to promote and support the new generation of fashion designers in the PACA Region and the Mediterranean. The international OPENMYMED PRIZE competition, open to 19 countries, has supported 71 young businesses since 2010. In 2017 a new form of support will be provided to the 20 new laureates including a brand strategy platform and help with the fashion trade and communications. Everything will be organised at Marseilles in the framework of the OPENMYMED Festival, whose guest of honour will be the fashion designer Simon Porte-Jacquemus, who is also present at the Forum.
