Eighteen models-for-a-day were proud to do a catwalk show at the Art Deco Museum: they were the ones who sorted, sewed and made this collection for the Label, using second hand or unsold garments from major fashion brands. All of them are unemployed and reintegrating the workplace.
« When they come to us, sent by the employment agency, these women, often single and with children to support, have been unemployed for a long time. They see themselves as good for nothing. We help them get their confidence back by getting them to understand the skills they already have, and teaching them a new occupation », explains Caroline Portes, Manager of « Tissons la solidarité » (TLS).
