After a difficult season, the Kulte textile line will return next spring/summer. Its textile license has been taken over by Kaporal, sponsor of the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (MMMM).
Kulte will continue its various activities with its Kulte café concept, its marketing projects such as the one designed for the Mama Shelter hotel chain; its presence at music festivals, and its licences managed by Giloba for textiles in South Korea, as well as its line of watches.
“It was what we wanted,” explains Matthieu Gamet, director of the company. “Today Kulte is a label recognised for its creativity. But it was important to be able to keep that identity with a textile line. We spoke to several actors, and in the end the Kaporal Group made the investment in this licence.”
This constitutes an alliance between two actors on the Marseille fashion scene; Matthieu Gamet and Laurence Paganini, general director of Kaporal, both of whom also officiate at the Maison méditerranéenne des métiers de la mode (MMMM).
