For its third edition, OpenMyMed festival, which aims at revealing the new fashion generation, gives brand Koché Carte Blanche to express its creative universe and vision of Marseille, the multicultural mediterranean mosaic, through a series of exhibitions and a public runway show on June 19th.
"This partnership with OpenMyMed is an honor for me, because Marseille is a place of incredible cultural mixes, an inspiring and sunny city, with a unique energy," explains Christelle Kocher.
"Christelle Kocher is the first ever woman to head the festival. Her hybrid and multicultural approach to fashion matches perfectly with the festival’s values," adds Matthieu Gamet, president of the Maison Mode Méditerranée.
The brand’s first cruise collection will take place in a unique and original setting, the "Danielle Casanova" ship, from maritime company CORSICA Linea’s fleet.
June 19th will also be the launch date of a first exhibition, put together by curator Anissa Touati, in collaboration with Christelle Kocher, that will be held in a surprise location, in partnership with MP2018 " Quel Amour ! ", with works from Tarik Kiswanson, Mehdi Medacci, Pia Camil, Jesper Just, Lili Reynaud Dewar, Yann Gerstberger, Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parenno. A second exhibition will be held in the show windows on the rue de la République, showcasing a selection of Koché clothes, in collaboration with collective The Community.
