06/04/2016

Aix Marseille Université ( AMU ) and the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (MMMM), in partnership with the Villa Méditerrannée/Avitem, have created a Fashion Networking Cycle Event at the Villa Méditerranée.

This twice-yearly event is an opportunity for international students in levels 1 and 2 of the Master’s Programme in Fashion Industry Management to meet with CEOs, designers, and marketing, logistical, and purchasing managers.  These include Valentine Gauthier, fashion designer and sponsor of the 2016 Mediterranean Fashion Prize (MFP) competition; Olivier Gas, Chief Executive of GasBijoux and member of the MMMM board of directors; and Nathalie Gennérat, expert from the Observatoire Economique of the Institut Francais de la Mode (IFM) and professional participant in the Master’s programme.

Experts include Jean-François Rey, founder and CEO of the JFREY fashion house; Daniel Richard, manager of Souleiado; and Eric Ammar , CEO of GIL CLAUDE.

This programme provides a forum for the exchange, discussion, and sharing of industry experiences, values, and skills between today’s generation and tomorrow’s.

Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur, with its wealth of top design and industry professionals, is an active participant in the effort to increase the international reputation and image of this region’s rich fashion industry.

This event provides another opportunity to confirm Marseille’s place as a Mediterranean fashion capital.
