Dior is provoking curiosity and nervous excitement the day before their runway show takes place, on Friday, at the Rodin Museum in Paris, where the first collection of Maria Grazia Chiuri will be revealed. The ex-joint Creative Director at Valentino is the first woman to pilot their feminine collections in the history of the Paris Haute Couture house. She has the delicate mission of taking over from Raf Simons, given his surprise departure in October last year after he didn't want to renew his contract. The expectation and anticipation is, to say the least, quite substantial ahead of this runway show. To increase the pressure, over the last three days Dior has posted a few stolen images onto the Web, just to create a buzz. They show the event behind the scenes, in little bits, via mini videos and film clips on Instagram. That way, we are plunged into the pre-podium atmosphere at 30, Avenue Montaigne. You see Maria Grazia Chiuri in the middle of a fitting session, she thanks the models with a warm « Grazie ! », and then we see Lili, the calligrapher, Aicha Meddaf, the head of the workshop, without forgetting the "petites mains" craftsmen and women who work at Dior.
