The emblematic and transgenerational fashion designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, is the guest of honour at the conference for the  Mission Mode exhibition on 21 October at the Alcazar Municipal Library in Marseilles. The MMMM is a partner of the exhibition.

This is an excellent occasion for the Masters 1&2 Degree Students in Fashion and Textile Métiers invited by the MMMM to experience the influence of military style clothing on general civil fashion; a crossover of styles. The exhibition is produced and coordinated by the Fashion Historian Xavier Landrit, and Captain Géraud Seznec, the Curator of the Foreign Legion Museum. Details, garments, colours, military silhouettes, create a vocabulary which has become an inexhaustible source of inspiration for numerous fashion designers. All will be under the spotlight to better understand the mechanisms of their influences.
