Created by the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (MMMM), Itinéraire Mode brings together in an original shopping idea and experience between Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence, multi-brand boutiques and young designers from the region, from 12 October to 31 December 2016. 98 boutiques and 75 fashion designers, convinced by this concept of collaboration, this year celebrate 10 years of Itinéraire Mode.
For this 10th Edition, the MMMM is providing a complete 360 degree communications service, with an 8 page newspaper printed in 10,000 copies on the rotary presses of the La Provence newspaper, and distributed in selected boutiques and locations in Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles. There will also be articles in the regional feminine press, with two pages in Madame Figaro on 14 October, in the Luxury Supplement of the La Provence newspaper, in the November edition of ToutMa, and in Grazia on 25 November. Spots will also be broadcast on radio Chérie FM as well as a competition lasting the time of the event. Finally, the participating boutique partners will organise themed evening events on the Itinéraire Mode throughout its duration.
Each year Itinéraire Mode unites the Fashion industry in the region, which provides more than 19,000 jobs and generates over €1 billion in Sales, and contributes to the attractiveness of town centres by championing shopping in boutiques rather than online. An activity which is vigorously encouraged and supported by our Public Sector partners including the Bouches-du-Rhône County Council, the Aix-Marseille Provence Metropolis, the Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIMP), the Bouches-du-Rhône Tourist Office (BDRT), and from the Private Sector, the McArthurGlen Group, Kaporal, the La Provence newspaper and radio Chérie FM.
