The Maison Méditerrannéenne des Métiers de la Mode (MMMM) and Aix-Marseille University (AMU) organize a cycle of conferences, the Cycle des Rencontres de la Mode, at the Villa Méditerrannée which will take place on the 15th and on the 16th of November 2016.
This bi-annual event allows the students of the Master’s degree in Fashion Management to meet fashion designers, CEO’s, architects or managers. For those lectures, we will have the honour to greet Jina Luciani, creator of the brand Occidente and laureate of M Major 2016, Yvann Pluskwa, architect, Dominique Barbiery, General manager of handicraftsmen and manufacture for Chanel, and Vincent Faraco, co-founder of Végétalement Provence, with Marijke Zijlstra Samb, in charge of public relations for the same company.
Those conferences will be a chance to exchange, pass on and share experiences in order to know more about the professional world of fashion and the challenges that the sector has to deal with.
The Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur’s region is located at the heart of a creative and industrial area. The fashion industry in the region is particularly efficient and valuable and is internationally represented through many “made in Provence” brands.
This event is an opportunity to represent the city of Marseilles as the center of fashion in the Mediterranean basin.
