A Graduate from the Saint-Luc School in Fashion Design and Fashion, and from Le 75 higher school of the arts and the image, in Brussels, where she obtained a BA in Plastic Arts, Visuals and Space with a graphics option, Alexandra got a lot of experience from the Three as Four fashion house in New York, as an assistant graphic designer. She then became an assistant costume designer for Wimp Vandekeybus' dance company Ultima Vez, in Brussels.
She is the founder and designer of the label Arma Cutis, which specialises in high-end scarves. She also acts as a freelance graphic designer for different cultural projects, from contemporary art to music labels.
In parallel, she teaches fashion and graphic design in different higher education schools. She teaches design in the Workshop 2 at the Saint-Luc School, and is an Assistant Teacher, under Tony Delcampe, at the La Cambre ENSAV [École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels] in Brussels where she teaches fashion design.
Recently she became a Lecturer at the UAM [Aix-Marseille University] on the Master Degree Course in Fashion and Textile Metiers, where she gives 85h of lectures covering a global introduction to fashion design and garment prototyping, including Fashion Culture, Images and Colours, Garment Prototyping, and Fashion Design around a personal project, the Micro Collection.
