After a Degree in STAPS at Nanterre (Paris X), the science and techniques of sports and physical activities, Franck RAYNAL decided to change career and concentrate on another sector, that of the textile industry, and in particular industrial embroidery. He started from scratch in a company specialising in the domain, and his passion for this new challenge led him to be rapidly approached by one of the largest embroidery software developers, Pulse Microsystems (Canada), to become product manager from 1996 to 2010.
In 2010, he left to develop his own project, an internet platform for the online personalisation of embroidery. Then in 2014, he was hired by the Japanese Group Tajima, the world’s leading manufacturer of embroidery machines, to manage their European subsidiary in Paris, which he subsequently decided to transfer to La Ciotat on the South coast. He is still manager and, by moving to the South of France, has not only optimised their growth in terms of European sales, but also in North Africa, a historical market for the Japanese company. In 2016, Tajima Europe decided to support the MMMM project. They have now increased their involvement by becoming an official partner of the OPNMYMED event with a support project for the 2017 laureates.
